Judith S. Davis

WEARE, NH:  On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, Judith Sylvia Davis, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly at the age of 79.

Judy was born on July 31, 1939 in Grasmere, NH, to Muriel (Forest) Fuller and John Fuller.  She grew up in Weare, NH and graduated Valedictorian from Weare High School.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from Plymouth State College. After graduation, Judy began her teaching career in Salem, NH.  Judy married Glenn Davis on November 22, 1962 and had a son John Glenn Davis.  Judy taught 5thgrade in Goffstown, completing 40 years as a beloved and revered educator.

Judy’s love of family and friendship was clearly evident in every aspect of her life.  Fiercely loyal, her dedication to her family was always her priority.  She cherished her time with family and close friends and relished in taking adventures and making memories together, filling those days with lots of laughter and many stories - her infectious personality and quick wit was always a joy to be around. Judy was a lover of nature and beauty which was abundant in her surroundings and to those who knew her. She treasured her son John and granddaughter Aida Mae, embracing every moment with them and being Aida’s Grammie Juju was truly the single most important role of her later life.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, John and her mother, Muriel. She is survived by her husband, Glenn, her son John, her granddaughter Aida Mae, her sisters, Deborah (Fuller) Zurmuhlen and Sara (Fuller) Parnpichate, her brother-in-law, Pong, her nieces, Lisa, Michelle and Robin, her nephews,  John, Adam and Tyler and her step-granddaughter Madeleine.

Please join us for a Celebration of Judy’s Life on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Pats Peak Ski Resort/Valley Room, 686 Flanders Road, Henniker NH from 1 pm to 4 pm.  We welcome people to bring a special memory or story to share (verbally or in writing).
